Hasan Ehtisham is a PhD scholar in the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He holds both an MPhil and a Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Journalism from the University of the Punjab, Lahore.
He has served for 11 years as an International Research Analyst in Arms Control and Disarmament Affairs (ACDA) at Pakistan’s Strategic Plans Division (SPD).
His research focuses on geopolitics, terrorism, conflict resolution, military strategy, Pakistan’s nuclear strategy, the non-proliferation regime, arms control, and disarmament. In addition to his academic and analytical work, he has a strong interest in media production and direction.
