The Network for Security, Strategy and Technology (NESST) invites original opinion articles and blogs offering sharp analysis and fresh perspectives on security, strategy, and emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For

We seek concise, policy-relevant, and original insights in areas including:

  • AI and Security
  • Nuclear Policy and Strategic Stability
  • Cyber and Emerging Technologies
  • Technology Governance
  • Space Security and Astropolitics
  • Arms Control and Nonproliferation
  • Women, Peace and Security (WPS)
  • Terrorism and Counterterrorism
  • Security and Sustainable Development (SDGs)
  •  Length
    • Opinion Articles: 1000–1500 words
    • Blogs: 600–900 words
  • Format
    • Word document (.doc/.docx)
    • Use headings where necessary
    • Include in-line hyperlinks (no footnotes/endnotes)
  • Style
    • Start strong (fact, insight, or argument)
    • Present your core argument early
    • Focus on analysis, not narration
    • Keep language clear and accessible
  • Originality:
    • Must be original and unpublished
    • Do not submit simultaneously elsewhere
